Somewhat small cosy gym in Osaka. I paid 3000 yen for three hours and my partner paid 2000 yen for one hour. The problems were set perfectly for me, not too hard and not too easy. There is a nice cave overhang and some slabs. The person at the counter spoke good English and was very friendly. I would recommend it to any passionate climbers as a decent place to boulder. The gym began to get busier as the day went on, so perhaps the earlier you go the quieter it is if that is what you prefer.

The walls are exciting and fun. My first time bit feels like ove been climbing here. Sent a lot of projects at my own pace. Thanks to Dan, the owner who is very accomodating and friendly. Will go back!❤️

Boulders are set by extremely talented setters. Dan speaks phenomenal English and was super inviting and hospitable. All the people there were kind and helped with boulders. There’s 10 climbs of each V grade from 0/1 - V8 or so, so there should be plenty of climbs for you to try. The route setting is phenomenal with a good mix of old school and new school. It is cash only so remember to bring some Yen and enjoy. Also for foreigners you get a free chalk bag for your visit so if you plan on visiting you won’t need chalk :)

A good place to climb in Osaka, especially for any foreign visitors who want to keep in climbing shape or to enjoy some time trying climbing. Good place for beginners and advanced climbers. You can do a Y2K pass for the hour of climbing, or pay a registration fee and day pass for multiple returns (cheaper if you climb more than a day). Dan and his setters created some interesting routes! You can rent shoes and chalk bag, if needed.

Be aware: CASH ONLY. Don't make the same mistake that I made, you'll have to go back and find an ATM. The Bouldering Gym is located at the fifth floor of a building, pretty easy to spot. The owner Dan was unbelievably kind. He took the time to explain the way the gym works and asked us many times if everything was clear and if we were enjoying ourselves. He even showed us the way to the best place to eat after our session. The routes are fun. The walls are packed but because it isn't too busy you'll won't have to wait to go onto the wall. They have 10 routes for every grade. I think the grading was a little soft (or I have never climbed better, who knows). Great experience and a definite recommendation if you only have time to visit one gym in Osaka! Thanks Dan for the lovely experience :)
